Stanford MBA.During my 2 years at Stanford, I was a Resident at the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies; performed research for Professor Jennifer Aaker (discussed in Fast Company); when Netflix “leaked” its strategy, Professor Sorenson and I responded; and co-created View from the Bottom to get classmates (e.g. former tycoons, entrepreneurs and soldiers) to tell their stories (watch trailer).

180 stores.Helped launch a new U.S. grocery store chain, Fresh & Easy, for the world’s 3rd largest retailer, Tesco. Our goal: a Wholefoods at Walmart prices; sell healthy food for low prices in low income areas. Built and led team responsible for U.S. supply chain strategy. Plus, learned lots of British idioms.

My first business.When I was 12 my best friend and I developed and sold (for a very small price) a search engine, BrainFind.com. BrainFind was a niche based search engine for webmasters.

My first (and only) television show.In college, I developed a tv news show. We interviewed politicians and professors. I even got to ask the White House Chief of Staff (Andrew Card) a few questions after the 2004 Presidential Debates. Watch two episodes.

10 hours at baggage claim.For a project, I investigated baggage claim. I spent 10 hours watching, talking and listening to 30 passengers, 4 airline employees, 3 baggage handlers, 2 airport executives in 4 airports. See the PDF.
